Lake Ilo dam opened to ease flooding in Zap and Beulah

The dam works on Lake Ilo — a small wetlands lake on Spring Creek — were cranked opened Monday morning in hopes that an early release into the drainage will help alleviate spring flooding in Zap and Beulah.
